A cider crafted from spontaneity, good humour and a euphony of Pender Island fruit, this blends Bartlett pears from Old Orchard, random plums growing in a hedgerow at the Kouf Orchard, Pinot Blanc skins from our neighbours, and Kerr crabapples from Winter Creek Farm.

750mL bottle at East Van Cider Fest 2026, pours a hazy dark reddish pink with a small white head. Nose is complex and refined, with a nice plum expression along with musty pear skins, crisp apple skins, and some farmhouse funk. Flavour is basically bone dry, with plenty of pear skins, moderate barnyard funk, musty apples, and light hay. Dry, funky, somewhat plum-like finish. Very good.
