Imperial Law of the Tongue

To celebrate 10 years of Sailors Grave Brewing we have doubled down on our favourite smokey oyster stout brewed with Wapengo Rocks Oysters. This is the story of Old Tom, the famous orca who spent almost four decades working alongside Sapphire Coast whalers in the early 1900s. In return for helping drive Baleen Whales into Twofold Bay, Old Tom and his pod feasted on the lips and tongues before leaving the rest of the catch for the whalers. This remarkable partnership became known as the "Law of the Tongue".
