This is a lighter version of our Scottish Ale, brewed for the 10th Anniversary of Capital Ale House. Combined with Calypso hops that have notes of pear and apple. You won’t get any hop bitterness out of this, just the flavor and the aroma. It makes it real nice and interesting.

Draft. Hazy dark brown color, thin white head, nice lacing. Aroma of caramel and subtle black pepper. Taste is creamy chocolate milk, lightly spiced caramel and pepper. Could use more body.

Draft at Capital Ale House Harrisonburg. Pours a hazy brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Faint aroma with toffee and earthy notes. The taste is toffee, earth, plum, cherry, caramel and bitter hops. Medium bodied.
