The Holy Moose has brought about a gathering of Nordic clans; with it comes a berry IPA overflowing with tart citrus flavour.

Cloudberry, lingonberry, blueberry and sea buckthorn meld with citrusy hops in an intensely sweet, fruity and floral aroma, with toasty malt notes and tropical fruit bursts.

This bitter, resinous IPA follows up with a lemony punch in the mouth - cherry and blueberry sourness takes this pithy pale ale in a new direction, before a long, dry finish.

Hops: Amarillo, Chinook, Mosaic

Bottle at home from brewdog online. Nice REddy / pinky / purple coloured pour with a lasting light pink froth. Aroma is powdery citrus, pollen, smoky hop, nelson sauvin maybe? Some tangy berry on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of mixed tart berry, blackberry and raspberry, light grains, zippy citrus, smoked hops, Palate is light and powdery, highish carbonation. Interesting beer, blended berries and hops pretty well.

reddish-pinkish colour, pinkish head; aroma and taste of a rose hip tea with hibiscus and raspberry as well as some IPA-ish bitterness with slight citruses; watery; more like a beer flavoured fruit tea than a beer...not bad, but a bit ’too much’...and a bit loo less at the same time...

Light haze on this cherry red beer, good pink - cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly dry. Reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts. Lots of berry fruits, kinda blueberry and raspberry. Modest hop skunk and pine sit uneasy along the fruits. Finishes dry with a tang that starts to get sour. A bit clunky.

Draught @ Sivukirjasto. Rated on 2.10.2015
Aroma is sweet with grapefruits, caramel, candy and gooseberry bush. Flavour is leathery, a bit sour with bush leaves, citrus and grapefruits. Started nice but feels too tart at the end.

Bottle. Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Thought this was a pale ale, so to see it pour pink was a surprise. Good hoppage. Tart fruit. Smells pink. Taste is zingy, tart, and light dry. Light body, and super drinkable after a day of beer. Cleans the palate, after a chicken kebab, really well. Nice one.
