A variety of specialty malts are the backbone of this American Amber Ale; a perfect session beer.

Big thanks to LilBeerDoctor , one great trader! Smell is a little sweet and slightly malty. Hazy, a little darker than pale yellow and there is sediment in the bottom of the bottle. Decent amount of crisp CO2 greets the tongue. Enjoyable and not too bitter. Hits the mark for a good beer. Overall nice beer drinking experience. During the session I think I even detect some kinda background fruitiness on the swallow. There is a tad of mild lingering bitterness on the finish. Thnaks for this beer YOU ROCK!

Draft. ESB isn’t my favorite style but ths beer was still not as good as others I have tried. A light balance between earthy hops and sweet malts.

Spurted foamy off white suds when the cap came off (points off my overall drinking experience). Body was a murky, copper brown with orange hues. Smells very malty, but also aromatic hints of grain and yeast. Flavor was definitely not special. Flat, lemony, no pop, tastes like an afterthought. Not very memorable. All in all, I’d pass this by every time.

Bottle. Light ESB flavor, not too bitter, but it certainly does it in the aftertaste. Amber color, and small head. Thought it was very refreshing and enjoyed it a lot.

Murky orange-amber with minimal (slightly scuzzy-looking) white head. Aromas are sweet with a little bit of a spicy character. Not univiting, but not complex either. Rather blah taste... sweet malt dominates with a little hoppy kick, but relatively unispiring. Butterscotch mixed with caramel is a pretty good description. Definitely lacks the kick of most ESB’s.

on tap-pours a rich, light tan head. Copper color. Aroma malt, hops, sweet. Taste is quite mild with the hops and malt being about equally present. Less hops than the ESB category usually has, but a nice beer. Mild effervescence and medium body.

Undated bottle, but these just arrived on the shelf at A Street Wines, so it shouldnt be too old. But then I open it and am not so sure. Head is small, rapidly fizzling to a ring of bubbles, beer is copper to very light auburn-amber and though the bottle has no sediment left in it whatsoever, the beer does have a decent chill haze. No lacing on the glass, head is off-white. Aroma of sour cherries gone bad, cherry pie filling, pie crust, sourish mashed grains, very dry, old, stale caramel and a touch of old flowery hops. Flavor is puzzling. Seemingly 100% attenuated, there really is no sweetness in this at all. Papery, astringent, sourish and with a strange bubbliness and yet a watery texture. Cornbread, old peaches, dry grains. Hoping this is a bad/old bottle but judging from the other ratings, probably not. The beer rating average by month is interesting on this beer. It has gone steadily downhill.

Pours clear reddish copper with a thin beige head and minimal lacing. Roasted malt aroma with a bit of hops. Medium-bodied with caramel and earthy malt flavors, as well as mild grass and hops. The finish is short and slightly bitter. This beer will not win any awards in the category, nevertheless it is a straightforward and easy to drink brew.

Watery and thin - barely any hop flavor at all, and the malt "backbone" has a touch of scoliosis - a tiny bit of caramel and mild sweetness - bland, lifeless finish - pass on this one if given the choice.
