Tap pig iron. Maroon & clear. Mild beery aroma. Farely mild initially then it tries to become like an IPA, hop bitterness sets in. Yes, an APA trying to be an IPA but never quite gets there. Medicinal finish.

12oz bottle. Poured a clear amber color, medium sized white head. Aroma was light citrus, touch of resin. Light boozy malt notes. Flavor was light resin hop notes, crystal malts - a touch heavy. Perfectly fine.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a dark red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Messy lace.
The aroma starts with some nuts and malts. Then some citrus and piney hops contact the rest of the aromatics nicely.
The flavor leans sweet through a blend of the previously mentioned aromas. Rugged malty aftertaste with the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonated fine, it moves pretty well across my tongue.
Overall, decent amber ale that I could come back to.
