Chris and Alisa brought this one back from a trip to New Jersey +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-brown color with a medium sized foamy tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty, bitter, fruity hops and crystal malt. The flavor was bitter with a strong crystal malt presence followed by notes of caramel and vague floral and fruity hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Nice caramel aroma with bunches of nuts and earth and a touch of fruits. Rich brown coloured body with hints of amber and a bit of a thin tan head. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong caramel flavour with a rich, sweet and sticky malt with a bright almost fruity finish. Aftertaste shows a well-balanced flavour with the malt coming through strongest and a thick sweetness from caramel and fruits balances out the malt nicely. Overall, a very nice amber with a good profile and decent complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased by Ken from my hockey team and sampled after a game on 15-October-2014 - Thanks Ken!

12 fl. oz bottle picked up at the Iron Abbey in Horsham, PA. A clear dark amber on the glass, off white head. Fresh hopy with hints of pepper on the nose. Starts very malty with roasty elements in a hopy bedding. A honey part in the middle, before the malt comes back. No overdosing, everything in a balanced way. Maybe some salty elements in the aftertaste. Highly recommended!
