Basic wit, crisp and light and very drinkable, with a gentle wheat sweetness laced with clove and vanilla, backed up by a mild grassy undertone and notes of orange and yeast. Floral finish leads to a weissbier fade. Nothing fancy, but pretty good.

355ml bottle: BB 13th Nov 19. Brought back from Alaska by a friend, drank at home on 4th Oct 19. Light haze to the golden body, snow white crown on top. Decent enough Witbier with subtle coriander and orange aroma/flavours within the wheat base.

12 oz can from my Mother in Law. Best By 100819 stamped on bottom of the can. The pour is a slightly hazed orange golden with a foamy 2 inch white head that is quite lasting, slowly falling with pretty lace. The aroma is herbal yeast, wheat grain, lemon citrus and lemon peel. The taste is orange citrus fruit, grain, coriander, herbal, the wheat grain and finishing with a dry floral. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and unfiltered mouth feel and herbal yeast and lemon peel softly bitter finish. Solid.

[12oz bottle from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a ring of white head; weak coriander aroma; flat in the mouth with a grainy body, an some watery orange; then a thin finish with a trace of coriander and yeast. A pour imitation of the Belgian original.

12 ounce bottle from BwP Liquor Expo Wisconsin Dells, 5/3/19. Hazy amber, thin frothy white head, good retention Aroma of wheat, apple, spice. Taste is wheat, apple, spice, tropical fruit. Medium boded, well balanced. I'm prolly too drunk (it took me three tries to type drunk (and three tries to type three)). Another one I shoud have gotten a long time ago and I'm glad to get now.

Pours clear Golden with a thick fluffy white head. Aroma of coriander and sharp orange peel. Taste is full of spice, dominated coriander with nice citrus offsets. Palate is complex and attractive, the elements of the beer play across the tongue. Great wit.

Bottle. Well behaved from the start except for the big head. Lots of sparkling going on here. Mild taste with a slight metallic hint. Fairly clean, no real bitterness. Not bad. It's GONE!

The first time I tried this was at a bar in Skagway, Alaska. Wanted a bit of the hometown vibe. At the time I thought it was pretty decent, had a second one. Now I find it a bit soft. Purchased with five other beers in a mixer at the supermarket. It looks pretty grand. The color is a pleasant medium gold with a slender white head that does yield a steady stream of carbonation. The scent is grain. Its taste is a very light shot at a Belgian-type brew, a small spiciness and a hint of bitterness. Again the grain or wheat overtone and a slimmer of tropical fruit. Oh well. My tastes have just gone a different direction.
