We wanted to brew a couple special ones for this round of bottles, so we brought in our friends from @liveoakbrewing to brew a lager celebrating Bavik, Kaiju, and Crabbing. Lost Limbs is a Franco-Belge inspired Pilsner featuring 100% Belgian barley and 100% French hops. We were able to get our hands on some awesome whole leaf French Fuggles and Strisslespalt pellets from @charlesfaramusa and they truly shine after the extended cold lagering. Smooth bready dough on the taste and fruity spice on the finish.

On tap at Gruff, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty low on the hops, with light grains and straw. Flavour is timid, with biscuity malt, straw, and some grainy notes. Very low bitterness / hop content. It’s clean but totally uninteresting.
