American Wild aged on White Cedar.
A barrel aged wild project from the boys that started months ago. With an addition of cedar into the fermentation tank, this wild ale takes on a whole unique sense of wood tones that are ever changing.

Draft at the source. Although the cedar doesn’t quite work here, this is a decent enough sour beer. Hazy variegated golden brown color, small white edge head. Aroma of sour stone fruits. Taste is funky summer fruits. Nice.

Draft at HopCat, Grand Rapids. Murky medium brown body, head mostly absent. Nose of buttered popcorn, berries, and funk. Sour body, funky and sulfuric with diacetyl, cedar, and alcohol heat, finishing with sugar wafers. Every now and then a sour beer smells like a fart, but this one tasted like a fart too. Not my pint of ale.
