This beer has a rich, malty flavor — full-bodied and slightly sweet, exactly as this style should be.
It was originally brewed by the Paulaner monks in Munich as a stronger version of their everyday Bock. It pairs well with hearty food such as roasted meat, game, and stews, and also with desserts like chocolate cake and brownies.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep brown with an orange hue and a neat and creamy, beige head. Nutty, toffeeish aroma - molasses too. Super rich body with more of the above, loads of malts but never really sweet. Sufficient balancing hops, a hint of roastiness and warming alcohol finish. Solid. 130926
