India Pale Ales, or IPA’s, were brewed for British soldiers stationed in India. These ales needed to higher in alcohol and hoppier than normal to survive the long journey, and ours is no exception. Now a traditional American IPA brewed with loads of Michigan Chinook and Michigan Cascade hops.

tap at the brewery (beer hunters please note: my notes are months old) - Pours copper colored with a nice citrus hop aroma. The flavor is aggressive, earthy hops with mild malt underlying it. It’s medium bodied with the expected lingering bitterness of the style.
