Named because Saffron Walden in Essex is famed for the cultivation of the Saffron Crocus the stamens of which are gathered and dried to produce that most expensive rich golden spice!
Deep Saffron gold in colour, brewed with Maris Otter Pale, Amber and Crystal malts with Goldings aroma and Progress bittering hops to give a clean refreshing bitter after palate.
Note - previously released in 2016 at 4.3%.
