(512) Double Pecan Porter is a robust porter accented by organic Texas grown roasted pecans and subtly enhanced by aging in recently emptied oak whiskey barrels for 3 months. Notes of chocolate, coffee and pecan marry with the subtle flavors of vanilla and whiskey to make this a wonderful warmer worth sharing and savoring. For this special release, we added coconut and vanilla for desert lovers. Enjoy!

Bottle to snifter. Pours black with a thin ring of dark tan head. Aroma of coconut, vanilla, bourbon abs chocolate. Taste is sweet, almost cloying but as to be expected with something like this. Taste follows aroma, bourbon and coconut dominate. Texture is thick but surprisingly thin on the finish. Finish is long with a lasting aftertaste of coffee. Great overall, definitely something I wouldn’t want more than one of.
