16 oz can shared with DCLawyer, poured into a tulip. Courtesy of a friend, thanks Ben. Canned 10/17/2016, held onto this a bit too long. Mostly clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of malt, candied orange, rye and spice. Tastes of malt, candied citrus, floral notes, caramel, honey, spice. Medium body with a dry finish.

On tap @ NoDa with jcnielsen. Pours a hazy dark golden orange appearance with an off white head. Rye, gummy sweet caramel malt in the aroma. A touch of fruits. Fairly high sweetness and bitterness. Spicy rye and candy flavor with some tropical fruits thrown in. Strong. Disappointing.

Pours red-tinged gold into a snifter. Pale head quickly recedes to hug rim. Stale and sweet with pit fruit and a lasting stale hop finish.

Draft. Nice aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, with a bit of rising bread dough. Taste is malty, bready, pumpernickel and light spice. Very nice.
