Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of roasted malts with a bit creamy chocolate. Flavor is similar with dark grains and roasted malt upfront but more of a creamy dark chocolate finish.
