Spotlight is our Farmhouse ale brewed with rye. We experimented with malted rye to one of our favorite farmhouse recipes which created a "spotlight" on the unique flavor of the grain and how it interacts with our yeast culture. We added about two pounds of fresh, whole fruit per gallon to this beer to enhance the sweetness of the fruity esters that are found in the rye.

Bottle from Tavour: pours reddish with a whitish head. Aroma is mationberry I suppose which reminds me a lot of raspberry. Some vinegar and funk as well. Taste is somewhat sour. Not overly acidic. Pretty fruity.
