Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of gn0sis. Pours an almost clear deep amber with a rough off-white head. Heavy perfumy hop aroma - yum. Solid body, some caramel, dark fruits, massive good aroma hops, woody. Very bitter finish. Incredibly delicious. 180311

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 1/25/11

Aroma: The nose is fruity and hoppy, citrus, pine, and caramel malts
Appearance: This one pours a dark mahogany color with a small off-white head
Flavor: There's some balance to the flavor with sweet maltiness and hoppy bitterness too
Palate: A medium-full bodied beer with soft carbonation, some decent heat, and a fairly long finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty tasty hop forward Barley Wine. I did describe it as fairly balanced because of the sweetness that is clearly there, but this one is still hop leaning in this style. There's a good amount of booze in here too, but I think this one works pretty well.

Bottle shared by Sean, thanks! Poured a brownish red with an off-white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was a combination of pine and dark grains which took more of a backing role. Flavor was similar with a starting pine note that mellowed to a dark grain and bread finish.
