On tap at the brewery taproom. Brownish coloured, small off-white head, toasted malt and light caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, light caramel, touch of toffee and sweetish finish. Rather boring.

Red brown with a medium sized beige head that left good lacing. Sweetish and buttery with toasty malt. Medium finish and body.

Bready, light roast, lots of caramel and toffee, no hops. The hops are doing nothing but adding bitterness, and very little at that. Soft carb and mouthfeel. Caramel finish.

On tap at Vermont Pub, pours a deep dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, toasted caramel and some herbal, vegetal notes. Flavour is a bit odd, with some earthy, spicy notes, vegetal notes, and toasted caramel. Odd stuff.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a dark red to brown with a nice layer of white foamy head. Dissipates at a nice pace. Moderate lace.
The aroma started off with some toast, and caramel malts. Sly roast comes out as it warms.
The flavor copies the aroma nicely. Light red delicious apple sweetness comes in for a sly balance. Crisp toastiness and malts in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice smooth semi-creamy mouthfeel. Low carbonation.
Overall, nicely done Irish red ale that I could have again.
