To call C-Note very hoppy would be an understatement. It’s brewed with the seven "C" hops (Crystal, Cluster, Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Columbus and Challenger) and pushes the bitterness limit to 100 International Bitterness Units.

Tap at Fifth Quadrant (NOL) - 07/11/12. Lightly hazed mid amber with a decent sized off white head. Good lacing ensues. Nose comprises pale malts, light floral notes, hops, touch of pine. Tastes piney, hoppy, light grapefruit, touch of minerals. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, bitter finish. Ok pale - would reccomend.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Light malt and light citrus aroma. Citrus and light pine flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Citrus and light pine lingers with light caramel and a light herbal note.

Bottle shared by Beerkat. Sweet malt flavor, very fruity, with grape, cherry, and grassy hops. Some citrus in there as well. Alcohol evident. Ok.

Draft at Fifth Quadrant. This one was very malty for an IPA. Tasty, but very malty.

An orange amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a pleasant grassy malt aroma with kightly lactic points, intermixed with nice c-hops. In mouth, loads of sweetish malts with nice pinhey and grassy hops, a bit restrained but good. On tap at Horse Brass Pub, Sept. 4 2010.

courtesy of unclejedi, New Year party in AL. pours orange, off-white head aroma and flavor, pine hops dominate this one followed by some citrus, grapefruit elements. Light notes of malts come add a little variety here and ends on a nice grassy hops touch.

Bottle Pours out a cloudy amber topped with a tall cream sand head. Aroma was nice lots of floral hops. Tast was nice more of the floral hops a nice malt and a nice mouth full. A little flower tast on the end along with a good bitterness.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small, off-white head over a hazed amber body. Good lace left behind. Aroma is herbal, and nutty with very light hops. Light lemony citrus with a bit of honey rounding out. Taste is floral hops, some nutshells, and caramel malts balancing. Hops seem a bit faded for the 100IBU claim. Effervescent with a water like consistency.
