Velvety smooth, orange copper ale with small creamy head, thick lacing. Light malty aroma leads into smooth biscuity flavor with hops on the backplane. Overall alcohol warmth minus the burn.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a copper color with a medium white head. A medium caramel nose with floral hops. The flavor is caramel, toffee, some light crisp bitter hops, earthy. Good brew.

Pours red-tinges amber with a fading head.Malty aroma of bready melanoidin malt and spicy hops. Somewhat faint.Similarly malty flavours with more bready malt and golden syrup, along with a bit of nutty malt. Finishes sweet with a little booze and a mild bitterness.Could use more carbonation and a lighter body.

Cask at Hopworks Bike Bar, Portland - 07/11/12. Clear golden with a thin off white head that soon clears to the edge. Muted nose, not a lot at the business end! Light tofee, pale malts and a touch of wood. Tastes of malt, caramel, again some light wood tones. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate, bitter finish. Pretty average. Rated both Cask and Keg versions - scores came out exactly the same!

Sampled on tap at PIB, pours a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma of light doughy malt, light floral notes. Flavour of boring doughy malts, slight spices, quite strong but not enough flavours to compliment. Decent A.S.A. but not inspiring.

Well I think this is what we had at Malone’s. Hazy light amber. Hoppy nose is papaya, herbs. Tastes a little weak, some herbals, and kind of an oxidized hoppiness. Never really gets going for me.
