Tap at Hopworks Bike Bar, Portland - 07/11/12. Pale golden yellow with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, grain, barley, light notes of honey and yeast. Taste follows nose, a little hops present, citrus tones. Medium bodied with soft spritzy carbonation leading to a crisp finish. Whelmed!

On tap at HUB Bike Bar, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light grass, some corn and biscuit malts. Flavour of dry grassy hops, dry biscuit malts and straw. Well-made pils with good bite. Decent.

16 oz can. This one reads 5.1% ABV. Pours cloudy yellow (looks like a kellerbier) with a large white soapy head with good retention; leaves some sheeting lacework. Aroma is corny, grainy, floral. Taste starts out lightly sweet before a crushing bitterness sets in. Definitely the most bitter pils I’ve had. There’s also an unwelcome flavor of wet dog in there. Highly carbonated, medium-full body. Crisp and refreshing, but a little flawed.

Tap at Hopworks - clear gold - a bit sweet forth style, but with a nice hop crispness to balance - pils malt is soft and clean - a bit of a honey finish, with a sligh peppery hop bit and mineral character on the end - decent.

Draft at BikeBar. Very pale yellow color. Light body, but a decent enough lager. Not overly exciting.

I had this on tap while dining at HUB in Portland, OR. This is a rather hoppy pilsner, fantastic aroma and extremely crisp. Very easy drinking with this one, I wish I could take this home and drink while watching a baseball game.
