We started with loads of roasted, black patent, caramel and other specialty malts, added over two gallons of dark VT maple syrup per bbl. then carefully aged this beauty in a freshly emptied American Oak bourbon barrel. Rich and decadent by nature, this beer will continue to mature and improve for many months. Cellar aging at 50-55F is recommended!

Bottle. Pours black with brown head that dissipated very slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma is quite hot with a good amount of bourbon, sweet grains and some chocolate with a bit of backing syrup. Flavor startrs with roasted malts and bitter chocolate with a growing syrup note and a strong backing bourbon note.
