Fein rauchiger, etwas süßlicher Beginn. Cremig, deutlich herb werdend, dennoch weich. Mittelstarke Würzigkeit, die Rauchnoten bleiben konstant. Süffig, etwas monoton. Okay. 9/9/10/9//9

Growler at First German Ratebeer gathering at Idar Oberstein courtesy of Bierkrug. Woody/vegetal sour malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with giant head. Sweet, lightly smokey toffee malt flavor. Very tasty.

Browler at the first German local RateBeer tasting at Wasaba in Idar-Oberstein. Courtesy of shrubber85 - thanks! Cloudy brown, tan head. Aroma of charred wood. taste is burnt coffee beans, ashes, caramel. Subtle. Very nice!
