Draft - pour amber gold white head - nose and taste of grapefruit, caramel malt and citrus - medium bodied.

Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a soft hazy copper color with a thin off white fizzy to semi-foamy head that dissipated fairly quick. Sly lace.
The aroma had some sweet graininess up front and then floral hops. Toast, biscuits and some toffee maltiness.
The flavor leaned towards the maltiness, somewhat sweet but straining the graininess along with the toast on into the fullness of this beer. Lingering malty aftertaste. Sly toast to floral to citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation. ABV felt fine as projected.
Overall, ok AIPA but there’s so many on the market these days and I don’t know if this was supposed to lean to the American or the English side. Sometimes I feel like I’m just supposed to throw up my hands in this day and age.

Firkin offering at Alefort. grapefruit added to this, making it much more citrusy. However, I didn’t think the fruit complemented the malt bill, making for a confused palate.

Sampled at Ram-Rosemont, 10/26/15. Citrus and a bit of pine. Caramel notes. Rye bread. Medium bodied. Decent feel. Decent overall.

On tap at Big Horn U District, pours a cloudy dirty amber with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of dank resinous hops, some herbal hops, and bready caramel. Flavour is a bit disjointed, with stale bready caramel malt and resinous hops. The balance isn't quite right, as there seem to be some strange flavours in here. Not a big fan, but it's not a disaster.

Draft - Pine and grapefruit. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Tropical fruit and grapefruit with a nice balanced bitterness. Very nice and fruity.

Sampler at Schaumburg. Far and away the best beer I had at Ram. Big grapefruit rind hop tones. Easy drinking, with a steady classic NW hop bill. Nice to end the otherwise lackluster sampler with. Right on.

Draft @ Downtown Indy RAM Cloudy, brown/amber with a short, off-white head. Caraamel, pine aroma. Taste is the same....mild malt... Very mild overall, not a standout.

On tap at Ram, Tacoma. It pours an unclear, dark orange body under some off-white to light beige head leaving curtains. Lots of pine cones in the aroma, not much maltyness kicking in. Fruityness and a touch of peaches too. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Quite dry, with a nice bitterness in the flavor, both initially and in the end. Some maltyness to back it up. Certainly a nice IPA, well worth a second and third glass. 130629

Draft at shaumburg. Aroma is mostly hops, grassy and floral. Taste is light nitter. Meh, nothing super special here. Drinkable but boring
