Made with roasted malts and European hops. Red-brown color and a fruity
malt sweetness. The alcohol is in accordance with a northern European
lunch beer.

A "northern European lunch beer?" Is that anew style? Is it OK that I drink it at dinner time? This one was full bodied, had an aroma of smoky nuts, and tasted like burnt caramel and light spice. Nice.

Cask at Churchkey. Poured a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma was toffee, caramel notes, touch of toasted malts. Flavor was crisp sweetness, malty, touch of hops.

A hazy red beer with a lazing beige head - doesn’t really look like the Biere de Garde’s I’ve had from France. The aroma is sweet with light notes of berries - it is served very cold, so not that much aroma appears. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of berries, but also a light note of butterscotch, leading to a bitter end with notes of berries. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky.
