In Belgium a ‘Sloeber’ is an older word describing a jester, someone who loves a prank. The ‘Sloeber Rossa’ is indeed a playful beer with a delicious color (EBC 30). The nose reveals subtle sweet caramel malt and classic Belgian yeast. The powerful flavor is fruity yet with a hint of caramel. This full-bodied beer finishes slightly bitter, clean and smooth.

Tap at il ponte pub. Reddish amber color big creamy offwhite head. Aroma is mild juicy and malty with faint tones of berries and plum, some grass, some sugar. Taste is flattish, sweetish with a soft bitterness. Fluffy to creamy texture, yet fairly dry. Nothing remarkable, average.
