12oz bottle. Brown-black body. Creamy beige head. Mellow chocolate aroma. Has a sharp bite up front, a sour coffee twang that could be mild infection or it could be intentional. I can’t really get past that even though it has nice malt tones underneath, I just don’t enjoy the balance. Still drank it, just wouldn’t buy a six-pack.

Bottle from bittermestupid. Thanks Greg! Pours dark reddish brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma has lots of chocolate and smooth dark malt. Med minus body. Flavor is smooth dark malt, coffee and some dark chocolate. Flavor seems to be quite different from the aroma. It’s not exactly dry, but there’s enough chocolate and burnt malt to make up for that. Drinks really well.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours crystal clear very dark brown color with a small 1 finger dense tan head with good retention that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Some slight spotty lacing on the glass. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, roasted malt, biscuit, roasted nut, cola, and herbal hops. Nice and well balanced standard porter aromas. Taste of caramel, chocolate, toffee, roasted malt, biscuit, roasted nut, coffee, and herbal hops. Light bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toffee, chocolate, roasted malt, and roasted nut on the finish for a bit. Nicely balanced and blended flavor profile. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy mouthfeel. Very easy to drink; with hardly any alcohol warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice and very enjoyable porter. Nice robust flavors and good balance.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market Dublin/Columbus, OH. Pours a clear very dark ruby color with a thin fizzy tan head that fades quickly. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, light roast and mild nutty notes. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, bitter coffee, nutty notes, caramel and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Well balanced. Nice beer.

HEY PORTER, Johnny said. Nice large and in charge pour. Big and black, good looking porter. Decently clean roasty flavors with a gentlemanlike bitterness. Smells like its OK. Flavorfull yet not too much CO2. Stronger alky sensations begin to build. Lovely large bomber bottle. I always said you need a bomber to have a good sample, heheh. Sizzly at times in the cheak during the session. Creamy thin head, fades only to a thick around the edge pound scum thing which makes me want to stick my tongue in it. Certainly some choco thing hidden in the background. Brew kettle is on par with the best of them. Not as good as wild bills or bells or even EE pink clouds, but OK overall for a porter; not as offensive as the ABV would indicate. This is really a dark beer experience fer sure and I’m glad to have had it.

Bomber courtesy of crizay pours mahogany with tan head. The aroma is roasty malts, burnt malts and some smooth earthiness. The taste is similar with tasty dark roasted malts and burnt malts and an under current of earthiness mixing with molasses. Nice roasty brew.

22oz bottle pours a mostly transparent, deep mahogany with a creamy beige head. Nice chocolate nose, malty, brown sugar, light smoke. Flavor has lots of smoke, malty, chocolate, a little light sourness. Finish is soft and lightly smokey. Not bad.
