22oz bottle pours a mostly transparent, deep mahogany with a creamy beige head. Nice chocolate nose, malty, brown sugar, light smoke. Flavor has lots of smoke, malty, chocolate, a little light sourness. Finish is soft and lightly smokey. Not bad.

Dark with a tan head. Roasty malts, lightly sweet, some chocolate, a bit sour. Flavor is roasted malts, molasses, chocolate, and a touch of sour on the finish. Decent creaminess. Real nice porter. Easy to down a bomber and could do a couple more, too.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours black with dark brown around the edges. Medium thin beige head that has good retention. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Roasty aroma of malt and coffee. Medium-bodied with a rich coffee character, with sweet malt and mild hops flavors supporting it. The finish is equal parts hoppy and malty with a lingering espresso aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
