Smooth like a lager. Crisp like an ale. The Cream Ale was one of the first beer styles created in America, and ours has been the style standard since Genesee first brewed it in 1960. Genesee Cream Ale has won numerous awards throughout the years and remains just as smooth and flavorful as it’s always been. It’s a true American original.

Bottle 355ml @ Hotel Room, Best Western Plus, Waterbury, VT
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and grass. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long grainy and grassy finish. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is malty and fruity, but not very interesting. Sort of wort-sweetish. The flavor has that same wort-like touch, it’s fruity and with some sweetness showing up towards the end. Low on bitterness. Medium body, soft on the palate, with a pretty straight forward finish. I can see that this beer might have been popular, it’s sort of dry and refreshing, but it doesn’t suit my palate. 150610

Aroma is weak and a bit basement-like. Appearance is clear, pale gold with fair, white head and champagne-like bubbles. Taste is light and pretty weak. Body is light with thin texture and unremarkable finish. This will forever remind me of college so gets some added boost for nostalgia but is best appreciated once every few years such as at a reunion.

16oz can picked up at The Grapevine
Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head that dissipates to a ring in the glass, spotty lacing. Mild aroma of light pils malts, grainy and some honey. Thin mouthfeel, light malts and hops, papery
Thin all around, flavored water. Not bad for a hot day

On tap at Buffalo Airport. Straw with a thin white head; grainy aroma; soft, bready taste with a creamy mouth feel; and a sweet finish. Not unpleasant,

Can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear gold with a half finger of quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of corn, grains and something a little skunky. Taste is medium sweet. Mostly corn and cotton candy. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Not bad.

I really have nothing to complain about since I drank like six of these cans at $2.50 a pop. I didn’t get much more than a $2.50 malted barley experience but it was better than the PBR cans at the same price. Cheers to cheap beers.

Golden in the glass, white head. The beer starts sweet, grainy, easy drinkable without any nice aroma. The mainpart is for my taste too sweet, grainy, very low in carbonation. Easy drinkable, but not good. The aftertaste is sweetish, grainy. Absolutely not deep.
A very bad beer - even for a session I would not recommend this. --> 2/12/2/2

Can. Pale yellow with small white creamy head, citrusy aroma, high carbonation, sweetish taste with sourness at the end, abrupt finish. Generic beer.

Got this one this summer because it was $10 for a 30 pack and I needed a lawnmower beer. Wow, you get what you pay for I guess.
