A classic and unfiltered german style wheat ale. Made with all the right flavors and aromas that wheat beer drinkers around the world have come to love. Even more refreshing with a slice of lemon.

Poured up at the brewpub with hazy deep gold body and nice off white head. The aroma offers up a nice load of banana, cloves and then some bubble gum at the end of the draw. The taste is nice and complex for the style where there is banana front to back but notes of lemon and malt graininess enter to midway. Into the finish the banana persists but is joined by some bubble gum and cloves. I dig this hefe.

enjoyed during 2011 RBWG on tap pours bright orange/yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is strong clove and bannana. Flavor is the same with crackers and loads of yeast fruityness.

Tap. Clear golden color, small white head. Lots of bubblegum and citrus in the aroma and flavor. Straightforward.

Draught at the brewpub, as Brewer’s Den Hefeweizen
Muddy orange color. Simple aroma. The flavor is more complex, with wheat, spices, very light banana; different from the usual Weizen, it has strong bitterness. Not bad.
