Thanks Wally for sharing this with us! Poured into a Hill Farmstead Glass at room temperature. Batch #12 from 2010, bottle #2,254.
A - 2 Head finger that was totally clear. Red to brown appearance. More brown than read and lots of cloudiness
S - Wine, tart, sour, cherries and rasberries. The red wine aspects to this were nice.
T - Raspberry, blueberry, junipers and red wine. Remarkably strong and well balanced beer and excellent sour taste that is very versatile and not too demanding on your palate.
M - 100% bubbles through and through on a swish. The berries linger long after you’ve swallowed.
O - Solid beer. Would love to have this again!

750ml Bottle #661 Batch #10 2008 Vintage. Pours out amber/orange topped with a cream sand head. Aroma was of cherries, oak, vanilla, caramel, light tart, and some sweetness. Taste is as the aroma with cherries leading the way and light sweetness.

2008 - aged 3 years. Pours deep, cloudy mahogany into a snifter. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface and hug rim. Sour cherry and oak aromas. Upfront oak and grape turning slightly sour in the lasting sour summer fruit finish.

750ml bottle, Batch 10. Pours an opaque amber with a creamy, off white head. Nose is vinegar, cherries, some wood, some brown sugar. Flavor is smooth, cherry, malty, yeast, light acid, light wood. Medium bodied.

Cloudy mahogany with a medium off white head. Sour aroma with lacto, roasted malt, caramel, sour berries and wood. Sour flavour with sour berrries, lacto, wood, roasted malt and caramel. Finished dry and sour. Nice and lactic.

RBWG 2010. Vintage 2008, Batch #10, Bottle #1888. Pours clear copper color with white head. Sour, musty aroma. Flavor is moderately sour, but not mouth puckering sour. Earthy and woody. Light, crisp and refreshing. Excellent.

Batch #10 bottle #370 2008 thanks to thirdeye11. Pours with a large, off-white head over a hazy amber body. Aroma is musty, acidic, attic, wood, alcohol, wine and brandy barrels. A bit of sourdough bread and raw pasta as it warms. Taste is not super sour. Some metallic notes. Light acid. Not nearly as elegant or acidic as the regular Barriquee in my opinion. Kind of faded and mellow. Light to medium carbonation.
