Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a slight tan/white head, dark amber yet clear body.
The smell had the normal malty \"Oktoberfest\" aroma, slight citrus.
The taste was sweet and bitter at different times between malts and hops.
The palate was light, sessionable, watery aftertaste and finish.
Overall, this was an average \"Oktoberfest\" to me.

Draft. A- Grains, spices. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Slightly bitter, malty, spices. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Leinenkugels should stick to making shandys and fruit beers. This is just not their forte.

Bottle. Co-worker didn’t like the beer so he gave me the remaining bottles. Poured a light, copper color with a fizzy white head. Aroma was notes of light caramel malts, some grain. Flavor was sweet malts, some notes of grains. Okay, inexpensive, but nothing spectacular here.

Bottle. Honey pour with thick head. Light malt aroma with caramel. Sweetish flavour with more caramel. Not much finish save a little tip of the tongue bitterness

Clear, reddish-orange amber with a large, vanilla head. Caramel malt aroma, a hint of cedar. Bread, caramel taste. Minimalist and bland for the style. Not bad, by any means, but nowhere near a front-runner.

Enjoyed during a company softball playoff tournament, which was fun. I thought this was better than PBR (only other beer available at the time), but as an Oktoberfest brew it wasn’t particularly good. Would probably drink again, considering the circumstances.

Wasn’t expecting much, so I wasn’t disappointed. A rather average interpretation of the style. They didn’t even get the ABV right...
