Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy apricot color with an enormous foamy yellow-white head that towered over the glass, lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was sweet with orange, yeast, mustiness and bread dough. The flavor was yeasty and bready with notes of orange, honey, vague herbs, pepper and a bit of chalk. Long finish. Medium body. Interesting.

Bottle - Soft gold malts with a touch of spice. Clearish gold with a nice white head. Sweet light malty notes and a light sweet malty finish.

Definitely has a dose of cardamon, but not so much cinnamon or saffron. Amber pour with ok head and lacing. Floral yeast. Light bitter finish with some sweetness. Tap at brewpub.

750ml five dollar bottle at Maxs..suspect age. Super hazy unfiltered orange, copper. Big, frothy head. Big on the spice overload. Herbal, flowery, ect. Champagne carbonation is nice, but this beer is sort of unrefined, big and brutal. The carbonation is a little too gushy, maybe mildly infected? A classy spice bomb.

C&C 750 mL bottle from State Line Liquors. Pours a hazy copper color with lots of visible carbonation. Large fizzy tan head recedes quickly but a thin layer sticks around a while. Yeast aroma with notes of lemongrass, spices and herbal notes. The taste is caramel, bread, yeast, spice, raisins, wheat, honey, dates. Medium bodied, somewhat chewy, very strongly carbonated. Interesting. I like.

750ml bottle-thanks jtclockwork for sharing-pours a foamy off white head and amber color. Aroma is herbal, some light/medium malt. Then some cardamom, floral. Taste is herbal/floral hops, secondary light/medium malt-slight caramel.

Bottle. Pours clear pale amber with thick off white head. Nose of herbal medicine, cinnamon, cardamom, malt and cumin. Taste of homemade herbal remedy of cinnamon, cardamom, spice and more herbs.

Tap at the brewpub. Golden color, scant head. Aroma of saffron. This had a very odd mix of spices that just didn’t quite work for me. A near miss.
