Sampled from the tap at Bottleworks. Pours a hazy amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and straw with some earthy grains for the backbone. Flavor is full of grass with a touch of pine and straw and grain for the backbone.

The appearance is a semi-clear yet somewhat hazy golden orange body yielding a nice two finger white foamy head. Lacing is spotty and leaves some rings.
The smell has the hops up front slightly citrus with a nice combination of malts.
The taste has some bittersweet with some nice flavorful lemon tones coming through.
On the palate, it sits about a light to medium, comes across sessionable, and the carbonation seems right on, slightly smooth.
Overall, wow! This is a very nice APA that seems spot on for a hoppy one of its style, I would definitely have this again.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of floral hoppy notes with light citrus undertones. Taste is also dominated by some citrus and floral hoppy notes with a dry malt backbone. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Good beer but not as hoppy as I was expecting.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn NY on 3rd July 2013. Clear amber with off-white foam diminishing to film with part lacing. Hoppy aroma. Grassy, grapefruity hoppiness abounds, and a discreet, but lush, savoury note appears in-mouth. A satisfyingly bitter finish. Lightly zingy mouthfeel with medium body.

On tap @ Blind Tiger House. This is a clear deep golden one with a small islandy and sidesticking white head. Smells fruity, fresh, quite inviting with peachy sweetness and some green pine cones. It's tasty to drink also, a bit thin oily on the mouthfeel and the carbonation is about average. Fresh summery flavors. A good amount of peachy hoppiness with floral and soft earthy tones. Not a huge flavor bomb perhaps (at least not compared to the beer I just had) but a really lightdrinkable and tasty summer beer. No problems drinking this again. 16.06.2013
