Bottle from prufrockstar, thanks! Pours hazy orange, medium white creamy head, nice lacing. Aroma is dank, pine, citrus. Flavor follows, light sweet, medium bitter, dank, a bit biting. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Pretty good effort.

Bottle thanks to Lizzie and Daren! Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount bread and grass with a hint of resinous pine. Flavor starts with pine and resin that mellows to allow grain and bread to come through.

Bomber from Whole Foods. Pours a clear dark copper color with a large white head. The aroma is light biscuit, honey and big citrus. The flavor is great: dank initially, sweet citrus, green cones, some light resin, more dankness, some light caramel and biscuit. Pretty damn nice. Smooth, medium bitterness. A big beer. Nice! The palate is creamy and full.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottled dating but was purchased recently. Pours hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with nice retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, pine, toast, biscuit, nuttiness, caramel, mango, herbal, floral, and citrus rind. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity. Taste of grapefruit, pine, orange, caramel, biscuit, mango, toast, herbal, floral, citrus rind, and piney spiciness. Good amount of spicy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, pine, biscuit, caramel, floral, toast, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Pretty nice balance of flavors with a decent bitterness/sweetness balance. Moderately cloying pine bitterness present on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy, slick, and sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. Nice hop profile with decent balance; quite smooth to drink. Would have liked to see it a bit drier with less cloying bitterness; but this was still quite enjoyable.

Location: 22 oz bottle from State Line, 6/25/12

Aroma: The nose has a good amount of tropical fruit and grapefruit, with some resin notes
Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange color with a small, bubbly white head and some decent lacing
Flavor: It is mildly sweet from the tropical fruits, but the bitterness is clearly the dominant component here
Palate: The body is medium, it is sticky, has a soft-to-average carbonation, and a lingering, dry finish
Overall Impression: I actually quite enjoyed this one. It did a lot of what I want from an IPA. This one has a nice West Coast style to it. It isn't anything original, and it doesn't really approach the top-of-style offerings, but it is a heck of a solid IPA.
