Bottle. Dark brown. Smells of burnt toast with a slight aroma of raisin. Taste of molasses, dark toast. Great exmaple of this beer.

Just deleted my review. Owhere else sella this in London, the Brewster studied iSundlerland. A salty liqourice porter. Nice if not overwhelming l.

330ml bottle [Thanks to Grumbo for another ship label!]. Darkest brown colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of roasted coffee beans, cocoa, dark chocolate. Taste is slightly bitter, hoppy and roasty dark malty, minimally metallic, notes of coffee, hints of cocoa, chocolate, subtle sweetness. Full body, slightly oily texture. Classical.

Black pour with dark ruby highlights and a small beige head with decent retention. Spotty lacing. Nice roasted malt flavor with some licorice mixed in. Smooth and lightly creamy mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Take away the licorice flavor and it would be better.

Bottle. Molasses, raisin, chocolate malt, and dry hay aroma. Dark brown with small head. Moderately sweet molasses, chocolate malt, light black pepper, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Good body. Very nice.
