Bottle from trade with Matt7215...473ml can..straw colored body and barely a head, thats off-white...well it smells better than the fart I just made, that eeked from my crevice...IPA....huh??..it must stand for imitation pilsner aftertaste....overly carbonated , weird for an IPA I must say...I just don’t see this as such ...boo hoo , drink poo

Can from a beer store in Prince Rupert, BC. The beer is a pale yellowish color with a medium and fluffy white head that burns away steadily. Mild hops aroma with some malt. Light and clean body with light hops, malt and caramel flavors. The finish is sweet pale malt with a bit of hops in the aftertaste. Overall I cannot imagine in what sense of the word this would be called an IPA, and even if not it’s not very good.

Canette 473ml. De couleur jaune et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle, léger de houblon herbeux (foin) aux notes florales avec des notes de maïs sucré. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort et un peu croustillant ainsi qu’une texture légèrement aqueuse. Goût de grains de malt pâle lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un léger goût sucré de maïs (quelques traces de pain) puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux (foin et herbe mouillée) aux petites notes florales ainsi que des traces de sucre chimique. Post-goût court et aux notes sèches, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux avec des traces métalliques.

bottle - Pours yellow with a thin head. The aroma is light malt with a touch of hops, not nearly the ample hops I was expecting. The flavor was the same. Mostly it just tastes sweet and light. There’s a little hops in there too, but an IPA? You’ve got to be kidding. It’s a tolerable enough beer if you want a blonde, but as many others have said, it’s completely mislabeled. What’s the brewery thinking here?

Small white head, pale yellow body. Light, malty musty aroma. Dryish grass, corn, and chalk taste, pretty light. Dry, musty malt aftertaste. Somewhat refreshing, but boring and some off tastes. (0.275l at McLean’s pub, Montreal.)

Brown bottle, 341 ml, gift received on December 7 2005, savoured on March 19 2007; eye: straw, clear, champagne-like white head that falls rapidly, light effervescence; nose: malt, corn, sweet; mouth: malt, corn, lïght caramel, light grainy hops, finale in light malt with a slight presence of bitterness and a harsh side to it, rather thin and grainy texture, mildly sweet, rather thin body, mildly sweet, quite carbonated, slightly astringent; overall: not a great beer, there are way better out there, but does not deserve the blasting it is getting FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 341 ml, cadeau reçu le 7 décembre 2005, savourée le 19 mars 2007; oeil : paille, claire, petite mousse blanche style champagne qui tombe assez rapidement, légère effervescence; nez : malt, maïs, sucré; bouche : malt, maïs, léger caramel, léger houblon granuleux, finale en léger malt avec une petite pointe d’amertume et aussi un petit côté âpre, texture plutôt mince et granuleuse, moyennement sucrée, corps plutôt mince, assez carbonatée, très légère astringence; en résumé : ce n’est pas une grande bière mais meilleure que ce que le monde écrive à son sujet

Tis a rather pale beer with not too much to stick on top on it. Smells a bit like alcohol. Unlike a ’real’ IPA, this is not hoppy at all. Not to say that it is bad because of this or anything, but rather to say that the beer is significantly less hoppy than what I expected. It has a rather bready and yeasty flavour though. With a little spice thrown in the mix. Finishes off skunky. Run of the mill mediocre beer.
