Draft: No detectable aroma. Dark brown pour with a creamy thick head, nice cascading carbonation, and complete glass coating. Roasted malts, clean finish. Drinks like a slightly metallic Guinness. Nice creamy mouthfeel, but lacking in flavor.

On tap at Dominica’s, a fine place. Didn’t even know this existed till I saw the cool tap. Pours like a guinness or any other dry stout of quality. However, did not have the big rolling head that is so common with the nitrous dry stouts. $4 per big glass. Not much aroma but what I did smell was certainly stoutlike, hints of roastiness. Except for the head, this rates just like any other dry stout. Barely any carbonation. Slight roasty watery feel, not thick. Not any worse than guinness. I don’t care for some beers in this style, for example, this is just like Guinness Draught, Murphys Irish Stout and Mendocino Black Hawk Stout. However, it lacks the enjoyability of Tröegs Oatmeal Stout or Carlow OHaras Celtic Stout. Overall, AB has done an excellent job of duplicating the attributes of the famous dry stouts. If you like Guinness, better try this one.

On tap...black with tan head...smells similar to a guiness, with the similar malted molasses ...then the taste..."fistful of pennies"-mv.....thin yet refreshing consistency ...bad metal aftertaste as well

Pour is black with a nice tan head. Aroma is a faint whiff of some malts. Flavor is a roasted malt but super watery and weak. Almost a complete copy of Guinness but even more flavorless and weak.

Tap at Sea World Orlando. LIght chocolate malt aroma. Dark brown with moderate head. Light chocolate, coffee and malt flavor . Very light. Overall tastes pretty good - a good gateway beer for Bud drinkers.

Draft at Bakersifelds Brews in The Village; Looked like a stout but tasted like a poor hefe. Opaque brown with a thick beige head; Nose showed banana esters, and the flavor did also without much else!

On Tap at Great America Ball Park Cin REDS Game. Pours out a dark almost black with a nice tan head. Not to strong for a stout it went down very easy.

At Virginia Beer Festival. Okay, nothing overly special. Really a Busch beer? Stout is stout, but I have to say this one was quite acceptable

Draught Jet-black; rather light yellow, dense nitrohead. Roasted & burnt malts, licorice without the sweetness fresh greenery aroma. Very little sweetness is all that gets through the ice-cold temperature. Very professionaly served & ruined. Light MF, even empty, just typical grist slickness. Disappointing, but is it the serving or is it the beer?
