"Created specially for Mount Hood Meadows' 40th anniversary in 2007, Alpenbrew features a beautifully nutty maltiness, buoyed by spicy/herbal hops and fruitiness from the yeast. Look for this one at the Alpenstube, The Finish Line and the Mazot up on the slopes this winter, and at a select number of wholesale accounts."

Tap at the Lucky Lab Beer Hall. Pours medium amber with an off-white head. Sweet pale fruit aroma. Medium body. Mild carbonation. Flavor is lightly cooked dark fruit. Quite delicious. Sweet/bitter/fruity finish. Kind of fun.

On tap at Double Mountain Hood River. Pours out a hazy apple juice topped with a white head. Aroma was of malts and a dirty sock odder. I don’t think that is suck a good smell. Taste was OK though. A good rich bread malt along with some sweetness and as always for me I seem to pick up a little wood on the ESB’s for some odd reason.

Draught at Concordia in Portland. Clear golden amber with small white head. Aroma of fresh hops. Nice character, hoppy bitterness apparent throughout, especially in the finish. Background of citrus. Very drinkable.
