A classic IPA; medium bitterness with light malt and citrus flavor. Calypso, Chinook and Mosaic add their spicy hop character and an enticing floral aroma.

Bottle Pours a cloudy medium orange amber witha large fluffy off white head. Aroma of light sweet malts and citrusy hops. quite sweet actually. Malitiness in the flavors was also light and sweet. Nice strong hoppiness puts it in its place though. Thin and quick on the palate. Quite lively carbonation and pleasant slightly biter trailer. Very refreshing.

Mongose pours clear medium orange/amber witha sticky head of off-white. Nice grapefruit citrus aroma. Lightly bitter in flavor, but could use a bit more malt and hops to fill this out a little. A drinkable IPA that falls on the tame side. A good one for non hop heads.

Slightly hazy orange coloured body with gold highlights and a nice off-white head that fades fast. Aroma of pine, pineapple and some light floral hops. Light-bodied; The taste shows more hops than anything else. Mild malt noticeable, but underbalanced by the larger showing of hops. Aftertaste shows a pungent bitterness, but no alcohol is picked up. Overall, a decent IPA-not enough hops and not balanced enough for me. Still good to try and nice to have fresh! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased at Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 14-November-2004.

Orangey amber, slight haze. Woody-fruity nose. Earthy, herbal, slighty spicy palate. Moderate bitterness. Good crisp profile, caramel in the back and a juicy finish. Prefer their regular IPA though.
