A fairly typical example of the style, with all the bubblegum aroma and grapefruit flavor you would expect from a hefeweizen. Drinkable, but not too exciting.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Sweetish wheat malty banana aroma. Sweetish wheat malty banana flavor with some spicey hints. Has a wheaty malty banana finish.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours up with mild haze on a straw to gold body, bright white head and nice lacing. The aroma is mostly bubble gum and wheat. I also get a bit of sweet malts. The taste is bold wheat along with a thin background of what seems like sweet honey to go along with mixing and melding notes of banana, bubble gum and pepper.

Banana and clove aroma. Golden color, no head. Very dry banana flavor with a lemon grass finish. Beery with wheaty goodness. Not the best quality but decent and enjoyable.

Aroma of banana and yeast, kind of wierdly combined. Hazy orange tinged golden color with a huge white head that collapsed with a little lacing. A bit thin bodied. Hint of sour. Citrus sour. Not much banana. Banana is sort of an after taste. It’s refreshing. Just a tad too sour to really be the best hefe. Decent. Hales does finer things.

Bottle. Golden amber beer with a nice off-white head. Banana-wheat aroma with some spice. Nice spicey clove/banana wheat flavor. Light fruitiness in background. Good overall flavor. Refreshing and easy to drink. Doesn’t bore like many wheats.

Bottle Pours a cloudy light orange/amber witha small off white head and only traces of lacing. Aroms were very much of the German Hef variety. That spicy twang that we all know and some love. A typical unfiltered feel and a soft carbonation made is nice going down.

Densely sedimented tan. Aroma of marshmallow, with a little banana. Heavy (for style), sweet body with notes of vanilla and marshmallow. Not vibrant nor complex enough for my tastes.
