Our Nut Brown Ale starts out very smooth, like an English-style Brown Ale. The use of Chocolate Malt, Munich Malt, and Hallartau Hops give this beer a crisp, nutty finish. Peak Nut Brown is a delectable beer loaded with complex, differentiated flavors that don’t overwhelm the palate, making it a perfect dark beer for food pairing.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish hazel, medium tan head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is malty, nutty, bready, hint of grass, light smoke. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter, nutty, malty, grassy. Light plus body, a bit acidic, but otherwise a middle of the road example of a middle of the road style.

Bottle. Poured a clear ruby brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some sweet nutty notes. Light malt, nuts. Light, inoffensive, but a bit watery. Light toasted notes, light toffee.

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 5/19/13
Aroma: The aroma is sweet and malty, with some bread malts, fruit, and a bit of toffee
Appearance: Pours a muddy brown color, slight orange hue, small beige head and drippy lace
Flavor: The flavor is medium-plus sweet, it's more bready early, but the fruitiness comes out later on
Palate: The body is on the light side of medium, with a smooth feel, and a slightly astringent finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was an alright, but just a little flawed beer. There's some good stuff in here for sure, but it just isn't quite there.

The color is dark brown with a somewhat light fluffy looking off-white bubbles that doesn’t leave much lacing on the glass. There are some smells of sugar and caramel. There are some faint hops but isn’t overly done. A medium body, smooth, and doesn’t have an aftertaste, but a dry sweet finish. Overall, this is a very good beer, I would buy this again.
