Borman’s Belgian Ale - The bang from this fine Belgian-style blonde ale comes from the strong Belgian ale yeast.

It contributes spice and pepper notes, resulting in a crisp, clean, refreshing blonde beer with a rich and surprising flavor. Extended cold aging provides a superior smoothness. Light the fuse!

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a murky peach color with a large foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar, tangy apricot, peach and pepper. The flavor was sweet sugar, bread, apricot, peach, candied dark fruits and hints of bread, pepper and shoe leather. Medium length candied fruit, bread and shoe leather finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

On tap at the brewery on 02/28/2009. Hazy golden body with a large frothy off-white haed. Sweet banana, clove, spice, and fruit aroma. Sweet fruity flavor with clove, belgian spice and slight tart hints. Light body with moderate carbonation.

Gift from Kenny and Savannah. Same color as urine when you have not been drinking enough water. 3 bubbles total. Aroma of orange. Pepper taste with coriander and yeast.

Rerate. The score (1.5) from the last one won’t be factored in to the new score, as it was massively infected. Bomber from the brewery. Pours a hazy peach color with no head. Aroma is very faint with nutty notes as well as bread and stone fruits. Taste is nutty with some bread, dry peach and pear and a fairly assertive hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Still not a great beer, but much better than before.

22oz bottle. The beer pours a golden orange color with a small white head. The aroma is a spice, filled one - with malts and a touch of hops. The flavor was spice, with notes of yeast and banana. It’s not bad - but not as good at it could be.
