Bottle shared at work. Black pour, off-white head. It's full of sweet notes of vanilla, booze, malts and chocolate, rounded by a woody touch, some earthy and roasted notes. Long lasting, sweet finish, medium to heavy body and soft carbonation. Yummy.

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is roasted malt, strong Bourbon barrel notes, oak, booze, notes of fruits, and mild vanilla. Flavour is sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Full bodied and a bit boozy. Nice blend of roasty imperial porter and bourbon barrel!

Small cream head over red-shot virtually black beer. Vanilla a mile out, sweetish, boozy - and I'd rather guess Bourbon than whisky. Sweet, vanilla, alcohol, fusels, wood. Hot liqueur and black chocolate; coffee/mocha warming up. Very oozy, viscous; low to medium carbonation, alcoholwarming. Quite good Porter! Txs to Joren for bringing!

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brwon colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Roasty, spicy, dark malty and peaty, smoky, aroma, notes of coffee, peat, leather, some dark caramel, toffee, a touch of butterscotch, cinnamon overtones, clove as well; the peaty notes turn out to be rather ephemeral, the cinnamon spiciness takes over. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly dry, roasty dark malty, peaty, notes of dark caramel with a touch of vanilla, a touch of burnt caramel, hints of peat, leather, some coffee, dark chocolate, some alcohol, a touch of toffee and butterscotch; later additionally slightly spicy, hints of cinnamon, a touch of clove; warming, minimally pungent, alcoholic finish. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying, simultaneously minimally pungent palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Wonderful, rich and complex, evolving in the nose, a tad unbalanced and harsh in taste, especially due to the alcohol that becomes increasingly noticeable - very good!
