Bottled. A Brown beer with a Brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, bread, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

clear brown, smooth small light brown head.aroma is sort of boozy, dark malty .flavor slightly woody or sourish, malty, like a wood lagered porter, quite nice, also faint note of rubber.

Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is breadish and roasted. Bitter, roasted and metallic. Dry and roasted. Metallic. Dark malty and breadish. Lingering dark malty finish.

Backlog, from notes. On tap @ the brewpub in Phoenix, AZ, 16 May 2001. Aroma’s: sweet, creamy, and then roasted malts, a bit old (as in old ale). Flavor is mildly sweet. Nice finish of roasted malts.

Clear very dark mohogany color with a creamy light brown head. Sweet chocolate aroma. Sweet caramel, chocolate and butterscotch flavor.
