0,66l bottle at Sanders place, shared by Sander, big thanks. Bottled 25.10.2016. Black color, small coffee coloured head. Smells of maple, earthy, cinnamon, spices, sweetness. Lovely smell. Full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of vanilla, light maple, earthy, peppery, bit chocolate, grassy, earthy, some wood. Finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of vanilla, some maple and earthy notes. For me too heavy on the vanilla, nice maple and wood notes. Balance gets better once it warms up. Very nice still

Bomber courtesy gift of Meadme, taken all the way to Niger for our monthly craft tasting. Brune foncée voire noire, col épais crémeux café au lait le tout sur un filament doré au verre-huileux. Arôme est malté, pas mal de café avec un excellent fini d'érable accompagné par de belles effluves de Bourbon, vanillé. Palais est modéré niveau effervescence, beau profil de Bourbon, boisé, chêne US avec un effet organique venant de l'érable, le tout est un peu caramélisé et sec sur la fin. Vanille revient en retrait et accompagne bien ce côté café - caramel perdure sur la toute fin.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a glass. Black with small beige head. Aroma is cofffee, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is coffee, maple, and some wood.

Out of a bomber at Fado in Miami. This is ridiculously good!!! Massive coffee, vanilla, oak..massive EVERYTHING! I loved this so much.

Lucky Bamboo bottle share. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of brown head that dissipates quickly. Huge maple forward nose with vanilla and bourbon notes. Sweet on the palate, but not overly so for a pastry stout. Light smoke and more maple. Lingering bourbon heat on the finish, but overall abv hidden well. Coffee shines a bit more as it warms. Very strong maple aroma in the beginning, like a pancake shop. Taste is more subdued, and super well balanced. Roast, caramel and bourbon. Creamy consistency. Dark chocolate and coffee. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Bottle from brewery.

650ml bottle (thx, Daniel H.!) shared at Alex's. Pours a very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is maple syrup, coffee, brown sugar, some fruity notes. Similar taste with some bourbon notes. I would say there is no big differense between this and Wide Awake except more fruitiness and booziness. Very nice.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with bourbon, coffee, some smoked meat, and maple syrup. Flavour is decadent, with loads of maple syrup, smoked meat, and rich coffee. Fairly sweet, with a lactose-like sweetness along with the maple syrup. Finishes syrupy and coffee-like. A decadent dessert beer.
