Een ode aan de oersmaak van pils. Dat is Brand Up, of Urtyp Pilsener. De krachtige hopsensatie, speciaal met Saazerhop uit Tsjechië, begint achter op de tong, waarna de lange, frisse nasmaak je hele mond verlicht. Dit bier komt het dichtst bij het oorspronkelijke pilsrecept uit 1842, ja ook toen wisten ze ’t goeie leven al goed te vieren.

Pours golden color. Malty grassy hopbitter flavor. A good balance between hops and malt saves this beer.

Same as the pilsner, but a little bit more hoppy and grainy. Hencforth, it’s a little bit better.

Draft at Paraplu. Pours clear golden with a large white head. Aroma of light hops, grain and malt. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra. Pale yellow with a white head. Hoppy, malty slightly grainy aroma. Good strong bitter hop taste. Lively carbonation. One of the best dutch pilseners.
