Keg at beaverfest. Pours black, nose is floral, coconut, chocolate cake, taste is similar, dry, bitter.

On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Black beer lasting tan head. Lovely smooth chocolate. Bit of ashtray. Actually pretty good. Not sure i pick up all the other flavours as my palate perhaps cant quite do it. Some herb some spicy dryness. Interesting though.

On tap Beavertown Beer Extravaganza, Printworks, Canada Water Saturday 9th September 2017. Not really getting the seaweed or shit ache mushrooms but it's a damn fine Impy Stout regardless. Pours black as yer 'at, thick in the mouth but really sipable, lots going on here, chocolate, cocoa powder, a touch of brine it's beautiful and a perfect example of what De Molen are great at. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Draft @ Planet Oedipus ’17. Black color. Beige/light brown head. Aroma’s: roasted, umami/soysauce, light mocha. Retronasal it’s sweetish, red fruit. Flavor is above moderate sweet, fruity, chocolate. Medium bodied. Long, roasted bitter finish.

On tap at Planet Oedipus. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of miso, tomato seeds, some roasted malts, light earthy. Flavour is miso, some roasted malts, ink, sweet soy sauce. Medium to full bodied. It’s weird, and I didn’t like it at all.

Bottle at THT August. Black with light brown head. Nice roast, sweet fruits, definately get some miso and seaweed but not overpowering. Toffee, dark chocolate, mushrooms, dead leaves. Over medium sweet, under medium bitter and quite umami. Full bodied.

THT August at Kwartje. Sampled from bottle. Black with tan head. Meaty dark malts, licorice, salmiak, mushrooms. Moderate sweet and wide earthy bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation.

7 3 8 4 16 Bottle shared at THT August. Near black with a ring beige heard. Aroma of seaweed, chocolate, mushrooms, toffee and malt. Taste is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter with some umami as the name suggests. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
