750 ml. bottle. It pours a deep, blood red color with a fizzy, pink head that disappears in about a minute. The aroma is potent with cherries, both sweet and sour with some mineral water, mild funk and cherry skin. The flavor is awesome with authentic sweet and sour cherries, cherry skins, mild funk with hints of phenolic bandaids in the finish, but its very light and actually adds to the complexity a bit. The body is pretty rich and juicy, which is probably my favorite part of the beer. Strong acidity, but it’s balanced really well by the fruit character so it’s not hard to drink a lot of this. Dry, sour finish. Love this stuff.

Pours clear ruby red color with reddish purple head. Tart cherry and funky aromas. Sour cherry, oak and funk flavors. Medium body with average carbonation.

F: quite big, pinkish, very quick diminishing to long lasting film fragment. C: dark reddish to brown, hazy against the light. A: sour, cherries, brettano, tarty, lactic, woody, dusty, light leather. T: very sour, almost no sweet tones, tarty cherries, woody, leather, old well, medium body, good carbonation, quite complex with minimum sugar and that’s is great, 0,75l bottle 2014 from Delhaize, worth to try.

Shared bottle at Mandagsklubben 11.04.16. Slightly brown head. Sour aroma, with sour cherries, farmhouse and sour horse pee at first. Aroma of sour cherries, brett and a hint of umami and smoked malt. Very complex. Sour, dry and astringent.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle capped and corked poured into a tulip. Translucent Crimson with medium pink head. Aroma is tart cherries, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is nice tart cherries and long sharp acidic finish.

Bottle at Bolime tasting 3/2016. Aroma moderately lactic, light fruity. Hazy deep ruby colour, small head. Taste surprises by the raw power of fruit, which is rather tanninish, grassy. Does not actually resemble cherry to me. Rather lactic and generally fruity with maybe some raspberry.

Old rating. 2008 version, Nr. 002121. Bottled on 19 Juni 2009. Great fruity and funky beginning. The cherries are sour and present, but not as sour as expected. Quite dry in the body, intense funky with the cherries rounding the beer. The aftertaste is long and fruity, deep funky with cherries and tart grainy beer. Very nice but not too sour.
